Art Workshop and GMO Presentation: 2 to 4 p.m. at Ashland Art Center, 357 E. Main St. Local artist and activist Catie Faryl will present "Don't Shop with the G-Nome: How and Why I Avoid GMOs." The event will include an hour-long lesson on botanical drawing and painting, a display of Faryl's work, and a dialogue on genetically engineered seeds and foods. The event is free. OSF Green Show: 6:45 p.m. on the bricks at Oregon Shakespeare Festival, 15 S. Pioneer St. Tames Alan, an actress, historian and fashion history teacher, will present "Shakespeare's Time — Upper Class" in costume.
