Air stagnation advisory issued

Expect air pollution to settle into the Rogue Valley for Thanksgiving.

A strong temperature inversion will leave stagnating air trapped in the valley in the next few days, potentially causing air pollution to build up, weather forecasters say.

The National Weather Service issued an air stagnation advisory that will be in effect until 10 a.m. Friday.

The advisory says air quality will be compromised and could reach unhealthy levels for people with respiratory issues.
