Allred misses cut in CLO

Jason Allred birdied four holes in the Chitimacha Louisiana Open, but bogies on two holes and a double bogey on another hindered his cause as the Ashland native missed the cut by one stroke in the Nationwide event Friday at Broussard, La.

Allred, who made it into the tourney through Monday's qualifying round, posted his second straight round of 71 on Friday for a two-day total of 142.

Garth Mulroy birdied his final four holes to move into the lead after two rounds in the first domestic stop on the 2010 Nationwide Tour schedule. Mulroy, a 31-year-old South African, polished off a 5-under 66 at the Le Triomphe Country Club and stands at 9-under 133 at the halfway point.

Jason Enloe of Dallas used a birdie on the final hole to post his second straight 67 and is in second place at 8-under 134. Rick Price (66), Charles Warren (67) and Monday-qualifier Patrick Grady (68) share third, two back.
