Antique planes visit Ashland

An antique airplane club from the Puget Sound area will fly into Ashland next week.

The Ashland Municipal Airport, 403 Dead Indian Memorial Road, is one of nine stops across Oregon, air tour organizers said.

Antique airplane models like Stinsons, Fairchilds, Interstates, Cessnas, Pipers and Taylorcrafts will begin arriving in Ashland during the afternoon of Wednesday July 17, and will be available for airplane buffs and history fan to view until the planes head out on Thursday, July 18, on their way to Roseburg.
