At Bend, Summit tied the game at 2-all with less than five minutes to play then held on to negate a potential Ashland victory.

Kelby Kemske gave the Grizzlies a 2-1 lead in the 59th minute on a pass from Camden Lopez, but Summit's Lucas Therage gathered a deflection off an Ashland player and booted in the easy goal to knot the score.

Ashland's Simon Lindsay scored the first goal in the ninth minute on a cross from Alex Murray before Summit tied it at 1-all in the 35th minute.

The Grizzlies outshot Summit 15-3 and controlled possession, but lost focus at critical points during the match.

Murray hit the crossbar twice on a pair of shot attempts and Weston Overland recorded two saves for Ashland (3-2-1).
