Police arrested a 30-year-old transient man for attempting to assault someone with a knife after he was asked to leave Tabu Bar on Pioneer Street.

Police arrested a 40-year-old transient person for drinking in Lithia Park, offensive littering and disobeying a park patrol officer.

A person reported that their car was broken into and an air compressor and an iPod were stolen.

Police arrested two transient men for blocking the sidewalk and another transient man for selling merchandise without a license on East Main Street.

Loose Ends hair salon reported that someone broke into the Siskiyou Boulevard business. A cabinet was pried open with a pair of scissors but nothing was reported stolen.

A business on the 2400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard reported that someone threw a rock through the front window.

An Ashland woman reported that someone broke into her car and stole a digital camera and damaged $100 worth of CDs.

Police are investigating the theft of two speakers, valued at $2,000, from the A Street Marketplace. Witnesses said two males, who were in the mall for more than an hour, used a ladder to dismount the speakers from a wall.
