Police found two juveniles in possession of four cans of spray paint after a resident reported that they were applying graffiti to nearby walls and utility boxes. Both denied applying the graffiti, but police are investigating further.

Police arrested a 47-year-old transient man for trespassing at Shop-n-Kart.

Monday 3:45 p.m. &

Police cited a 21-year-old man for skateboarding on the sidewalk of Lithia Way.

An Ashland woman reported that her car was stolen from her carport on the 300 block of Taylor Street.

A woman was assaulted by a "known person" at the Jefferson State Pub.

Police cited a 36-year-old transient man for drinking beer behind Shop-n-Kart.

Sunday 2:15 p.m. &

Police cited a man for being in the Railroad Park. He was previously asked by police not to enter city park property.

Sunday 12:47 p.m. &

Ashland Fire and Rescue responded to a brush fire on the first block of Dewey Street. The fire was started by a cigarette.

A person reported that a statue was vandalized on the 500 block of East Main Street.

The Ashland parks and Recreation Department reported a burglary at 620 North Mountain Avenue. Nothing was reported stolen.

Police cited a 24-year-old transient man for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana after he was sleeping in the East Main Street Laundromat.

Police cited a person for camping in Lithia Park.

A person reported that someone attempted to break into a house on the 100 block of Central Street.

Saturday 5:26 p.m. &

Police arrested a man for trespassing in Lithia park and giving false information.

Police arrested a 29-year-old transient man for selling jewelry without a license on the corner of East Main Street and Pioneer.

Friday 1:30 a.m. &

Police arrested a 19-year-old transient man for assaulting a public safety officer, assault 4 and resisting arrest on the Ashland Loop Road.

Friday 8:20 p.m. &

A female juvenile reported that her purse was stolen while she was using a bathroom on Calle Guanajuato.

Friday 3:35 p.m. &

A man reported that his car was vandalized.
