Police stopped a 56-year-old Ashland woman for speeding then impounded her car because she did not have valid driving privileges in Oregon.

Tuesday 2:52 p.m. &

Police responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash on Siskiyou Boulevard near Palm Avenue.

Tuesday 9:35 p.m. &

Police cited a 20-year-old man for unnecessary noise at his residence on the 800 block of Clay Street.

Tuesday 9:35 p.m. &

A 37-year-old Medford man on probation with a no intoxicants clause was recognized by police while holding a bottle of alcohol on the 800 block of Clay Street. He was arrested and transported to the Jackson County Jail.

Monday &

Police arrested a woman for writing 20 bad checks in the Valley between June — and September 14. She was cited and later released.

Sept. 18 &

Police cited a man for providing false information to police after a violation on Aug. 16. The man appeared in court and signed four court documents with a false name. He was also cited for identity theft and forgery.
