Wednesday, 5:30p.m. &

Between Wednesday around 5:30p.m. and Thursday, 7a.m. at 145 E. Main St, an unknown person(s) entered into an office building that is under construction and stole tools valued at $2,490.00.

Thursday, 8:12a.m. &

Police were dispatched out to Fairview St to view vandalism. The damage was in the form of a large rock thrown into the windshield of a 1997 BMW M3. The victim showed police a place in the neighbor's yard where the rock might have come from, which was across the street. A rock weighing approximately 35 pounds was still lying on the ground next to the car. The couple that reported the vandalism did say that a party from the neighbor's residence could be heard around midnight. Police attempted to contact the neighbors to question them about the incident, however nobody was home. Photographs were taken of the vandalism.

Ashland High School staff reported a case of disorderly conduct.

Thursday, 3:30p.m. &

A woman reported that between 3:30 and 3:40p.m. an unknown subject stole her backpack. The woman had left her backpack hanging on a fence near the free box in the recycling center on Water St. No suspect or witness information available.

Thursday, 3:52p.m. &

A driver turning from Lithia Way onto First St and failed to yield to a bike in the bike lane and struck the biker. The driver was cited for failure to yield to a bike.

Thursday, 8:22p.m. &

A female adult reported a restraining order violation after the respondent of the restraining order violated the order by sending an email to her. This case is open and under investigation.

Thursday, 10:52p.m. &

At the location of 55 Winburn Way, the driver of a blue Chevy pickup sideswiped a parked and unoccupied maroon Subaru Legacy. The driver of the pickup was attempting to park next to the Subaru at the time of the incident. Information was exchanged.

Thursday, 11:12p.m.- A minor was cited and released for minor in possession of alcohol after he was found intoxicated in a hallway at the Forest Dorm on the Southern Oregon University Campus.

Friday, 2:49a.m. &

A man was stopped for operating a vehicle without required lighting on North Laurel St and Central Ave. The subject was observed having blood shot watery eyes, slow speech and dilated pupils. Subject consented to a standardized field sobriety tests. He showed marked impairment and was arrested at 3:06 a.m. for DUII. Subject was transported to the Ashland Police Department where he submitted to a breath test. The result was a .14% blood alcohol concentration. He was cited and released to a sober adult.

Friday, 3:57a.m. &

A woman was stopped for running a stop sign on Wightman Street at the Iowa Street intersection. Police observed that the driver had bloodshot and watery eyes. A strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath. Also her speech was observed as being slow. She refused to perform a physical field sobriety test. Subject was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Subject took a breath test with a result of .15% blood alcohol concentration. She was cited and released for DUII and unlawful possession of marijuana.
