Ashland Police & Fire Reports

Sunday, 2:33 p.m. &

Sometime between Friday and Sunday an unknown suspect broke the driver side window of a vehicle parked in the Science Works parking lot. The suspect also entered two other vehicles owned by the same man, in the parking lot. Nothing was stolen. The cars are inoperable and were left unlocked. The owner of the vehicles has permission to store them there.

Monday, 9:51 a.m. &

A representative of the Methodist Church reported two transients were trespassing on church property. Police contacted both persons; they were asleep in their sleeping bags. They were arrested and released.

Monday, 11:15 a.m. &

A transient was cited and released for possession of an open container of alcohol in public and scattering rubbish.

Monday 12:06 p.m. &

A man on the 100 block of Gresham St reported that an unknown person had sideswiped his parked car while it was parked in front of his residence sometime within the last two days.

Monday, 3:19 p.m. &

A driver was heading inbound and was stopped on Siskiyou Blvd for a vehicle turning left into the Minute Market when a second driver rear ended driver

2 was cited for following too close.

Monday, 5:50 p.m. &

Police too the report of a possible child abuse situation. Police spoke with a female juvenile who stated her father had abused her during arguments. It appears that this may be a disciplinary situation. A copy of the report will be forwarded to the department of human services for cross reporting purposes.
