Sometime between the evening hours of Nov. 9 and 12, on Morton Street an unknown person stole a Haro's brand mountain bike from the side porch of a residence. The bike was unlocked at the time of the theft.

Thursday, time unknown &

A woman reported an attempted burglary. It appears that someone attempted to gain entry by using a sharp object to gouge at the dead bolts at the front door and the back door. They also bent the screen and gouged at the windowsill on the first floor. They did not gain entry. The woman does not know when this may have occurred.

Thursday, 3:12 a.m. &

A woman reported that between Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. and Thursday at — a.m., an unknown person broke out the side window to her vehicle and took her purse while it was parked in a parking lot near 180 Will Dodge Way. Officers responded to the area and were able to locate the purse a short distance away. Money and two credit cards had been removed from a wallet in the purse. The purse and its contents were returned to the victim.

Thursday, 2:23 p.m. &

Officers viewed graffiti on an electrical box at the corner of N. Main Helman streents. The graffiti was in the form of black marker ink, showing the message: KORESH with a large exclamation point underneath. Police photographed the graffiti and used a solvent and rag to remove the tag.

Thursday, 6:32 p.m. &

Police transported a white adult female to Rogue Valley Medical Center 2 North for a mental health evaluation regarding suicidal thoughts.

Thursday, 11:52 p.m. &

Police stopped a vehicle for running a stop sign located at the intersection of Faith and Ashland streets. The driver was found to be driving uninsured. The vehicle was impounded and towed by Star Towing.
