Wednesday, 5:02 a.m. &

Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The man's driving privileges were found to have been suspended and the vehicle had no insurance. The driver was cited and his vehicle was impounded.

Tuesday, 11:57 p.m. &

A vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. After further investigation the driver was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of intoxicants. The driver was transported to Ashland police department where he was cited and released to a sober adult. His vehicle was impounded.

Tuesday, 10:23 p.m. &

An adult male was placed into protective custody and transported to 2 North.

Tuesday, 8:24 p.m. &

A Southern Oregon University student reported that his mountain bike was stolen during the winter break. The bike was reported to be silver Kona Kikapu mountain bike valued at $1,500. The information was relayed to the Southern Oregon University Security Department.

Tuesday, 7:54 p.m. &

A man was arrested for theft of service after eating a meal at the House of Thai, knowing that he had no means to pay for the meal. He was cited and released at the scene.

Tuesday, 4:20 p.m .- SOU Campus Security found two Levi's suitcases and a large green tarp near McNeal Hall. The items were handed to the Ashland Police Department and will be returned to the owner.

Tuesday, 3:38 p.m. &

Police responded to the Lithia Springs Girls Home for two runaway juveniles. An attempt to locate the juveniles was entered.

Tuesday, 3:30 p.m. &

An adult female reported all of her mail stolen since Friday, January 4th, 2008.

Tuesday, 2p.m. &

A non-injury motor vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Siskiyou Blvd and Bridge Street. The damage was estimated at under $1,500. One vehicle had rear ended the other. A driver was cited for following too close.

Tuesday, 9:09 a.m. &

A man reported the theft of his red-colored Buick skylark from the rear parking lot of the Wild Goose.
