Friday, 1:41 p.m. &

An employee of Ashland Hardware turned over lost property. A business card was left at the man's residence informing him of the find. Case is closed.

Friday, 5:02 p.m. &

A woman reported that a known individual entered into her apartment without permission.

Friday, 5:09 p.m. &

Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic stop. During the traffic stop it was determined that the passenger had a warrant for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and lodged at Jackson County Jail. A female juvenile passenger was found to have consumed alcohol and was cited for minor in possession.

Friday, 6:36 p.m. &

A man reported witnessing one male and two females vandalizing a bench the plaza.

Saturday, 5 p.m. &

Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation she was placed under arrest for DUII. She was transported to Ashland Police department where she was cited and released to a sober adult. Blood alcohol concentration was .13 percent.

Saturday, 2 a.m. &

Officers stopped a vehicle being driven on Oak Street near A Street. After identifying the driver, there was found to be a valid Ashland Municipal Court warrant for his arrest. The warrant was for failure to comply with the original charge of minor in possession &

alcohol. He was taken into custody and transported to Jackson County Jail.

Saturday, 3:27 a.m. &

Police responded to a loud party at the 200 block of Wimer Street. Two juveniles were cited and released for minor and possession of alcohol by consumption. An adult woman was cited and released for providing a place for minors to consume.

Saturday, 9 p.m. &

A man was reported to be living in a shed behind a house on the 400 block of Tolman Creek Road without permission. Upon contact with the man he could not provide any proof that he was allowed on the property. He was arrested and transported to Jackson County Jail.

Saturday, 10:29 p.m. &

A juvenile was cited and released for minor in possession of alcohol after a bottle of Barbarossa Spice Rum was found in open view inside her car. She said a friend, who she would not identify, left the bottle there. She said the bottle was obtained by "shoulder tapping" a transient.

Saturday, 10:59 p.m. &

A woman was cited and released for using anther's license after she attempted to use another person's license to enter the Kat Wok.

Saturday, 11:15 p.m. &

A man was driving a vehicle that was stopped for traffic violations. He was found to have a suspended driver license and no vehicle insurance. He was cited to appear in Ashland Municipal Court and the vehicle was impounded.

Saturday, 11:55 p.m. &

Officers responded to Glacier Hall on the SOU campus with campus public safety officers for a report of a person passed out in a bathroom. Police contacted the person and determined that he was too intoxicated to care for himself. While searching for weapons and means of escape police found less than an ounce of marijuana and a marijuana pipe in his pocket. Officers transported him to the detox facility in Medford and issued him a citation for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Sunday, 2:10 a.m. &

A male juvenile was arrested for assault IV (domestic) physical harassment and criminal mischief II. The juvenile was lodged at the Jackson County Juvenile Department.

Sunday, 4:43 a.m. &

Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for unsignaled right turn. The driver had a warrant for his arrest for failure to appear on charges of disorderly conduct. His license was also suspended. He was cited for driving while suspended, and transported to Jackson County Jail where he was lodged on the warrant. The vehicle was released to his girlfriend.

Sunday, 1:44 p.m. &

Officers responded to Oak Knoll Drive and St. Andrews Circle for a non-injury motor vehicle crash. Two vehicles were involved in the crash with no injuries. Citation is pending for the driver of vehicle one. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Sunday, 3:06 p.m. &

A man reported that someone entered his red Honda Accord and stole a $20 bill and a check in the amount of $250. His vehicle was parked in the 400 block of Park Street. He placed a stop payment on the check.

Sunday, 9:02 p.m. &

A man was arrested for theft III after stealing recycled cans from Safeway.

Sunday, 11:16 p.m. &

A female adult was taken into custody and transported to Jackson County Detox.

Monday, 12:35 a.m. &

Officers initiated a traffic stop on an adult male for operating his bicycle on North Main Street near Nursery Street without lighting. The male refused to identify himself for the issuance of a citation. The male was detained until he provided me with an identification card. The male was cited for operating a bicycle without required equipment under state and municipal code.

Monday, 8:53 a.m. &

The bookkeeper for Market of Choice, reported that a woman had negotiated a bad check in the amount of $17.91. The bookkeeper read in the paper that the woman had been arrested on unrelated fraud charges. The woman was charged with theft and the case will be consolidated with other pending Medford cases.

Monday, 3:30 p.m. &

A motor vehicle collision occurred at the 2300 block of Ashland Street. There were no injuries. The damage to each vehicle was estimated to be below $1,500. The driver of the vehicle at fault was issued a citation for careless driving.

Monday, 5:16 p.m. &

A small dog residing at the 700 block of Walker Avenue escaped from his front yard and attacked another leashed dog that was walking by. The victim dog did not sustain any injury, however the suspect dog bit the owner's finger as he was trying to break up the fight. The owner doesn't want to pursue charges. The case will be referred to animal control.

Monday, 9:36 p.m. &

A woman was stopped for several traffic violations . After further investigation she was arrested for DUII and driving while suspended. She was also found to be in possession of marijuana. She was cited and released to a sober adult.

Monday, 10:32 p.m. &

Police stopped a vehicle operated by a juvenile for expired registration. The juvenile was found to be operating outside of the restrictions of his provisional license. There was also no current insurance on the vehicle. The vehicle was impounded and the juvenile was cited for operating without privileges, driving uninsured, and failure to renew registration.

Monday, 10:32 p.m. &

A male juvenile was issued a citation for open container in a vehicle and minor in possession of alcohol.

Monday, 10:42 p.m. &

A man reported his 1997 white Buick Le Saber stolen.
