Ashland Police & Fire Reports

Monday, 7:15 a.m. &

Officers responded to the report of a possible burglary on the 1500 block of Webster Street. The resident said that sometime between — a.m. and 4:30 a.m. someone opened her manual unlocked garage door. The resident said that nothing had been stolen. At about 11 a.m. The woman had returned home, her front door and back door of the house were wide open. Once again, nothing was stolen. There were no signs of forced entry and the hide-a-key was still in place.

Monday, 7:20 a.m. &

An adult female reported that someone had entered her apartment and stole $100 in cash at sometime between 10 p.m. Saturday, and 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Monday, 9:30 a.m. &

A woman reported that someone entered her vehicle sometime between 12:15 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. and stole multiple items.

Monday, 9:42 a.m. &

Police responded to the 1800 block of Siskiyou Boulevard for a medical assist. The case turned into a death investigation where the adult male was deceased. The male died of natural causes. The family was notified of the death.

Monday, 11 a.m. &

A juvenile reported that someone entered his Greensprings dormitory room and stole a jacket.

Monday, 12pm &

A woman reported someone stole her wallet from inside her purse as she stood in line inside Taco Bell.

Monday, 1:19 p.m. &

Officers responded to Market of Choice for a cooperative shoplifter in custody. Store security took a male in custody for stealing a sandwich and drink. The man was cited and released to appear in Ashland Municipal Court at a later date.

Monday, 2:01 p.m. &

Police responded to the 700 block of Park Street for a theft report. A man said that someone had entered his vehicle and took a snowboard and paintball gun. The total value of the items taken was estimated at $900.

Monday, 2:17 p.m. &

A man reported that sometime during the last month someone had stolen his locked bicycle from the bike rack outside Cedar Hall.
