Monday, 2 p.m. &

An adult male reported that someone had entered his vehicle and stolen his IPOD.

Tuesday, 5 p.m. &

Someone attempted to enter into a parked car on the 400 block of Iowa Street. No entry was made and no items were taken.

Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. A man reported the theft of an IPOD nano, and sunglasses from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked in his driveway sometime between 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. the day before.

Tuesday, 11:15 p.m. &

A driver was stopped for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation, she was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of intoxicants. She cited and released. Blood Alcohol Concentration was .14 percent.

Wednesday, 7:22 a.m. &

An employee at 7-11 reported a dog tied up in front of the store. The dog was transported to the Jackson County Animal Shelter.

Wednesday, 10:43 a.m. &

A Camel brand tent was found near the 100 block of Fork Street.

Wednesday, 1:43 p.m. &

Officers responded to a report of a dog at large in the Bellview School playground. Police located and captured the dog, which did not have tags and was transported to animal control.

Wednesday, 5:02 p.m. &

An officer was approached in Lithia Park, near the band shell by a couple that had found a kitten.

Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. &

A man entered a woman's unlocked car and stole her phone.

Wednesday, 8:10 p.m. &

A vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation on Sherwood near Ashland Street. The driver showed signs of controlled substance use and consented to field sobriety tests. He showed marked impairment on the tests and was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of a controlled substance. He was cited for DUII and lodged on a probation violation for a previous conviction of possession of cocaine.

Wednesday, 9:38 p.m. &

Someone attempted to enter an apartment on the 700 block of Normal Avenue while the resident was home. The person did not make entry.
