Monday, 9:33 p.m. &

Someone stole an amount of cash from the change bag at the Subway sandwich shop located on Avery Street.

Tuesday, 1:03 a.m. &

Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute that had just occurred at O'Ryans Irish Pub in downtown Ashland. Upon interviewing the victim and witnesses to the event, police found that a man had apparently slapped his girlfriend at least three times while in the bar. The man then fled to Lithia Park after bystanders warned they were going to call the police. Despite a thorough area search and further attempts to locate the man, officers were unable to find him. A copy of the report will be forwarded to the District Attorney's office and the man's parole officer for further action.

Tuesday, 3:23 p.m. &

The Interfaith Care Community reported the front glass door of the business was shattered by a rock thrown through it. The criminal mischief occurred between 2:30 p.m. on Friday and 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Tuesday, 4:19 p.m. &

A man was cited and released for theft from Market of Choice. He ate a bowl of soup from the deli and did not pay for it. The case is cleared by arrest.

Tuesday, 8:07 p.m. &

A Texas drivers license was located and placed into Ashland Police Department property.

Tuesday, 10:01 p.m. &

A cello was misplaced or stolen from the Ashland High School. There are no suspects or leads.
