A man said that someone stole an aluminum carrying case from his locked vehicle while it was parked on the street in front of his residence. No sign of forced entry to the vehicle.

Monday, 11:26 a.m. &

A woman met with an Ashland police officer to deal with a warrant for a failure to appear charge, for an original charge of theft II. She was cited and released.

Monday, 3:35 p.m. &

A citizen turned in a found coin purse containing a California ID card and assorted additional cards and a small amount of cash. The owner was notified through mail.

Monday, 8:30 p.m. &

Someone unlawfully entered an unlocked car and rummaged through it. No items appear to be stolen.

Monday, 9:10 p.m. &

SOU campus safety officers handed over found property to the Ashland police department. The identity of the owner of the property is unknown. The property is a diabetic kit in a black pouch. The property will be returned to the owner if identified.
