A male adult was taken into protective custody after it was determined he was too intoxicated to care for himself. He was transported to detox.

Thursday, 8:38 p.m. &

A man was arrested for DUII after causing a traffic collision with another driver. The man was cited and released to a sober adult.

Thursday, 7:32 p.m. &

Two employees of Pilaf reported that someone took about $15 from their tip jar.

Thursday, 2:30 p.m. &

Someone took a woman's purse while she was in Railroad Park. The purse was set out of the victim's view.

Thursday, 3:14 p.m. &

A man said that two employees of Ashland Hardware reported receiving suspicious phone calls that were obscene in nature. After the third call, the man advised the caller not to call again.

Thursday, 12:35 p.m.- A woman said that someone had taken her purse from her classroom.

Thursday, 11:15 a.m. &

A driver was stopped for a traffic violation and was found to have a suspended driver's license. During the inventory search of the vehicle, a glass marijuana pipe with residue and a grinder were located in the center console of the vehicle. The driver was cited for the marijuana and the vehicle was towed.

Thursday, 9:21 a.m. &

A woman reported that her hearing aid valued at $2,800 was stolen from the woman's bathroom at the YMCA.

Thursday, 9:12 a.m. &

A resident of the 400 block of Thorton Way said that someone had entered his unlocked vehicle. The glove compartment was opened, but no items appeared to have been taken.

Thursday, 8:22 a.m. &

Officers were dispatched to Southern Oregon University's Webster Street tennis courts to view graffiti to a utility shed.

Thursday, 1:13 a.m. &

A man said that someone entered his unlocked vehicle and rifled through the vehicle, but no items were taken.
