A sexual assault was reported to the Ashland Police Department.

Someone forced entry into the doctor's office of Gooding and Rio.

Police received a confidential report from DHS involving a juvenile who menaced his stepfather with a knife and pushed his mother. The case is being forwarded to JDH at this time.

A woman was stopped for traffic violations. She didn't have any liability insurance and her vehicle was towed.

Tuesday, 3:04 p.m. &

An adult male was stopped for traffic violations. He was later arrested for operating a moped while under the influence of alcohol. He was cited and released.

Tuesday, 4:57 p.m. &

Police took a report of someone entering a car and stealing several items valued at $105 while the car was parked at the owner's home.

Tuesday, 5:26 p.m. &

A property owner said someone caused damage estimated at $780 to his deck and flower planters between Sunday and Tuesday by lighting the flower planters on fire. This case is under investigation.

Two adults and one juvenile were issued citations for shoplifting at Shop 'n Kart.

Wednesday, 4:57 a.m. &

SOU Campus Public Safety reported a hit-and-run incident that had just occurred in front of the 300 block of Wightman Street involving a Subaru station wagon and a parked white Ford Focus.
