Someone broke two large windows at Starbucks at 1474 Siskiyou Boulevard.

Sunday, 3:08 p.m. &

A man was cited for trespass II from SOU.

Sunday, 10:54 a.m. &

A man was arrested on an outstanding Jackson County Circuit Court warrant charging failure to appear on criminal trespass charges.

Sunday, 2:36 a.m. &

A woman was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was cited and released.

Saturday, 11:58 p.m. &

Police responded to a domestic disturbance on the 2200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Witnesses said that a woman was punching her boyfriend and had pushed another woman during an argument. The woman was lodged in Jackson County Jail for harassment x 2 and disorderly conduct.

Saturday, 6:12 p.m. &

A woman reported that someone cut down a maple tree in the back yard of a house she owns on the 200 block of Grant Street.

Saturday, 4:21 p.m. &

Officers responded to the report of a male too intoxicated to care for himself. He was released to his friend.

Saturday, 2:59 p.m. &

Police viewed graffiti on the Central Oregon Pacific Railroad tressel at Jackson Road and Highway 99.

Saturday, 1:28 p.m. &

A shoplifter was reported in custody at Market of Choice. A man had taken an item without attempting to pay for it. He was cited and released to appear in Ashland Municipal Court.

Saturday, 12:48 p.m. &

Police were given a Union Bank of California, Gold, Debit MasterCard, that had been turned into the police department. The card had been found on the main path in Lithia Park near the lower duck pond.

Saturday, 11:30 a.m. &

A woman walked out of Market of Choice with a $19.99 product in her purse that she had no intention of paying for. She was cited into Ashland Municipal Court on the charge of theft III.

Saturday, 7 a.m. &

A woman found that her van, which was parked in her driveway on the 300 block of Avery Street, had been entered overnight and several items (tuna, crackers and wine) had been stolen. On Saturday, 1:20 a.m. Officers had been in contact with a man in a nearby parking lot and found him in possession of the same items that the woman reported stolen. The man was later located and lodged at the Jackson County Jail charging unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and theft III.

Saturday, 12:57 a.m. &

A man was contacted for skateboarding in the downtown area. He was found to have a valid warrant issued for his arrest. The warrant was issued by the City of Ashland on a failure to comply on a disorderly conduct charge. He was also cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Friday, 11:40 p.m. &

A male adult was taken into custody and transported to Detox.

Friday, 9:48 p.m. &

Police responded to an intoxicated man at the corner of Tolman Creek Road and Ashland Street. He was determined to be a danger to himself and transported to RVMC for an evaluation.

Friday, 9:48 p.m. &

A man was arrested after he was found to be intoxicated a violation of his parole conditions. He was also cited for open container in public.

Friday, 7:03 p.m.- Officers were flagged down at Hersey Street near Oak Street to an injured bicyclist. He was transported to RVMC and his family was notified.

Friday, 3:42 p.m. &

A registered sex offender inaccurately and incompletely completed a registration form claiming he was leaving the State. Omitting the required information on the from made him in violation. This violation is a felony because his conviction requires him to register. The matter is being referred to the District Attorney's office for prosecution.

Friday, 9:33 a.m. &

Police responded to the report of a moving vehicle collision near the intersection of Tolman Creek Road and Siskiyou Boulevard. One vehicle was parked on Tolman Creek Road with the second vehicle sideswiped it. The driver of the second vehicle was disoriented and taken to Ashland Community Hospital by her family. No citations were issued.

Friday 9:30 a.m. &

Sometime during the night someone had entered tow vehicles of a resident of the 600 block of Glendale Avenue. Both vehicles were rummaged through without anything being taken.

Friday, 8 a.m. &

Sometime during the night someone had entered two vehicles of a resident of the 1600 block of Peachey Road. Both vehicles had been rummaged through and about $20 in cash and coins had been stolen.
