Boy George, Frampton, Mraz coming to Britt

Boy George & Culture Club, songwriter Jason Mraz, and country star Jake Owen are among the acts the Britt Music & Arts Festival announced during a party for supporters Thursday night.
Boy George will appear Sept. 11, Jason Mraz Sept. 6, and Jake Owen Sept. 13. Other acts announced Thursday were Peter Frampton Aug. 27, ventriloquist and comedian Jeff Dunham June 24, guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela Sept. 12, Britt fan favorite Brandi Carlile Aug. 24 (her eighth time at Britt), and The Original Wailers performing Bob Marley’s compilation album “Legends” in its entirety Sept. 1.
This is the third and final announcement of Britt’s 2018 season, which opens June 12 with Ziggy Marley’s “Rebellion Rises” tour. See the full 2018 season line-up at brittfest.org/performances.
Members can submit their orders for processing according to membership level through May 6; sales open to members online May 7; and shows go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. May 11.

Tickets are also on sale for Britt’s Classical Festival, which runs July 25 through Aug. 11.
