Ashland resident Jack Leishman captured these frosty images during the Rogue Valley's recent cold spell.
"The beauty of this place where we live just draws me to explore," he said.
A nutritional therapist, Leishman has been taking photos since he was in middle school.
While he sometimes sells his photographs, Leishman said he mainly enjoys posting his photos on Facebook for all to enjoy.
He said the advent of digital photography has been freeing, since he doesn't have to print all his photos or deal with chemicals from the development process. He also enjoys playing with his photos using software tools, enhancing colors here or adjusting sharpness there.
"I think photography is an art form," Leishman said.
