Community Acupuncture opens its doors

On Saturday, Oct. 4 from noon to 5 p.m., Chad and Shanai Moyer celebrate the grand opening of People's Choice Community Acupuncture. The business will open its doors, recliners and massage tables for an afternoon of feel-good celebration.

The grand opening event will include free acupuncture and jade thermal massage, free introductory tai chi and qi gong classes, plus Chinese herbs, live music, food and giveaways.

The clinic's low-cost, high-quality acupuncture business model is the first of its kind in the community.

"Acupuncture works for so many ailments," said owner Chad Moyer. "We want to make it work for regular people. That means making it affordable."

Treatments are offered in a group setting and on a sliding scale, with patients paying what they can afford, between $20 and $40.

People's Choice Community Acupuncture is located at 1664 Ashland Street in the Ashland Shopping Center. For more information please call Chad Moyer at 951-9952.
