conference: "Co-Creating Community Sustainability'" is the theme for the 6th Annual Grandmother Council Conference from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday May 31, at The Bellview Grange, 1050 Tolman Creek Rd., Ashland. Native American Takelma Elder Agnes Baker Pilgrim, chairwoman of The International Alliance of The 13 Indigenous Grandmothers who counsel world leaders on the healing of the Earth will present a current update of the group's work and teachings.
