Forum helps entrepreneurs prepare pitches

Entrepreneurs considering an entry to the 2014 Southern Oregon Angel Conference can discover how to brush up presentations and hone pitches at the next Jefferson Grapevine.

The Wednesday, Feb. 19, event at Bigham Knoll in Jacksonville begins with an educational forum, 3-5 p.m., followed by evening presentations by Rick Leibowitz and Alex Pawlowski.

Leibowitz is the controller at Ashland Partners and formerly led the Small Business Development Center at Rogue Community College in Grants Pass. Pawlowski is business development loan manager for Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development Inc.

The gathering is designed to help business newcomers develop business plans and prepare for opening the doors.
