Grizz softball team drops season opener

The Henley High softball team scored four runs in the first inning to take control en route to a 7-2 win over Ashland in the nonconference season-opener for both teams Tuesday at North Mountain Park.

Ashland's runs came on RBI singles by Grace Franckowiak in the second inning and Chelsea Cooley in the sixth.
