Harry and David recalls chocolate espresso beans

Harry and David has recalled 66,500 bags of chocolate-covered espresso beans because they could contain milk not listed among ingredients.

People who have an allergy to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the beans, the company said.

The bags of Harry and David Chocolate Covered Select Blend Espresso Beans were sold before April 5 in Harry and David Stores, said spokesman Bill Ihle in a press release. No illnesses or injuries have been reported in connection with the beans, the company said.

Customers who bought the beans may return them to Harry and David for a refund.
