Havurah will host talk on Hebraic thinking

Rabbi David Zaslow will do a teaching on Hebraic thinking on Tuesday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m. at the Havurah, 185 N. Mountain Avenue, Ashland.

"The Hebraic mindset is uniquely different from the Hellenistic way of thinking with which we've been raised in this culture," Zaslow said. "The Hebrews saw time as fluid where the past and future were part of an accessible unified fabric. In this world view the ancestors are seen as alive, angels are part of our lives, and aspects of the future can be known to us. In addition, the Hebraic mindset sees no real distinction between the animate world and what we call the inanimate world. Come and learn the 12 aspects of Hebraic thinking."

The class is free and open to all. For more information, call 488-7716.
