After playing a fundraiser April 8 at the Siskiyou Pub for Jay Powell, country-punk-rock group Law will perform another benefit show Saturday at The Little Brown Jug in Talent.
Proceeds from Saturday's concert go toward paying medical expenses for the Rogue Valley's self-proclaimed Good Will Ambassador, Johnny Nackley, who recently incurred more than $50,000 in hospital bills after suffering a traumatic leg injury, according to the group.
In addition to the live music, there will be a raffle for a variety of prizes, the value of which exceeds $1,500 combined, according to the group. Prizes include gift certificates, dinner at the Arbor House restaurant, skateboard products from Deluxe Distribution and goods and services from local businesses including the Downtowne Coffee House in Talent. Auction and raffle will be held throughout the evening.
The show, for ages 21 and over, starts around 9 p.m. at the The Little Brown Jug, 104 S. Pacific Highway, Talent.
Law, based out of Talent, is Martin James, guitar and vocals; Johnny Haley, lead guitar and vocals; Mike Schultz, bass and vocals; and Marshall Harper, drums. For more information on Law, see www.myspace.com/lawtheband or www.hechointalent.com.
