Ashland Police Department

Wednesday 8:13 a.m. — Police responded to a secondhand report of a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of Quincy Street. Officers determined that no crime had been committed, but a female resident was placed into protective custody on a mental health hold and transported to Rogue Valley Medical Center for evaluation.

Wednesday 3:29 p.m. — Police arrested a 26-year-old for second-degree theft after she was caught shoplifting various grocery items from Market of Choice.

Wednesday 4:33 p.m. — Police received a Department of Human Services report of possible neglect and threat of harm in the 1100 block of East Main Street.

Wednesday 4:27 p.m. — Police arrested a 21-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants and misdemeanor hit and run after his vehicle struck two parked cars in the 700 block of Leonard Street. He later blew .24% BAC.

Wednesday 5:43 p.m. — Police received a confidential report of possible sexual abuse in the Ashland area.

Wednesday 7:30 p.m. — Police cited and released a 45-year-old woman for theft after she took an item from Market of Choice without paying for it.

Wednesday 9:26 p.m. — Safeway reported that an unknown suspect stole a 12-pack of Corona beer. The suspect was not located after police searched the area.

Thursday 1:43 a.m. — Police arrested a 40-year-old woman for driving under the influence of intoxicants at Gresham and Iowa Street.

Wednesday 8:05 a.m. — AFR responded to a power line down in the 400 Willow Street.

Wednesday 10:23 a.m. — AFR responded to an emergency medical services call in the 700 block of Ashland Street.

Wednesday 11:31 a.m. — AFR responded to an emergency medical services call in the 200 block of Maple Street.

Wednesday 6:48 p.m. — AFR performed a public service or assist in the 300 block of Clay Street.
