Thursday, 5:28 p.m. — 45-year-old man was cited and released for driving while suspended after being stopped for a traffic violation.

Friday, 1:57 a.m. — 22-year-old man was arrested and lodged at Jackson County Jail on charges of possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed weapon, attempt to elude in vehicle and on foot, reckless driving, driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to present and carry a license. The man was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be intoxicated. He failed to present his license and was ordered out of the vehicle. He then attempted to elude police and rolled his vehicle at Highway 99 and Jackson Road. He then attempted to elude on foot and was located about 150 feet away from his vehicle. He was determined to be a convicted felon and had a loaded firearm concealed inside his vehicle.
