Police and fire reports May 18

Friday 12:47 p.m. — A man reported the theft of his backpack and items in the 100 block of Garfield Street.

Friday 4:29 p.m. — A woman reported an incident of physically harassment and assault in the first block of North Main Street.

Friday 4:59 p.m. — Police received a Department of Human Services cross report regarding possible harm to an individual in the Ashland area.

Friday 6:07 p.m. — A 22-year-old woman was cited for a violation in the first block of North Main Street.

Friday 6:49 p.m. — An 18-year-old woman was issued a citation for minor in possession of alcohol in the first block of North Main Street.

Saturday 8:51 a.m. — On Wednesday, May 12 between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., an unknown person keyed a vehicle in the area of Morse Avenue and East Main Street.

Saturday 10:34 p.m. — A man riding a bicycle was injured when he was struck by a motor vehicle in the area of Siskiyou Boulevard and Normal Avenue. The case is under investigation.

Saturday 2:10 a.m. — Police arrested a 42-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants after he was found to be too impaired to operate a motor vehicle in the area of oak Street and Clear Creek Drive.

Saturday 2:21 p.m. — An 18-year-old female was cited for minor in possession of alcohol in the first block of South Pioneer Street. At 3:06 p.m. she was cited again for minor in possession of alcohol in the first block of North Main Street.

Saturday 2:30 p.m. — An 18-year-old female was cited for minor in possession of alcohol in the first block of Winburn Way, and was additionally cited again at 3:06 p.m. in the first block of North Main Street.

Saturday 11:06 p.m. — A vehicle was reported stolen in the 2200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard.

Sunday 2:25 a.m. — Police transported a man to detox after he was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself in the 400 block of East Main Street.

Sunday 12:07 p.m. — Police assisted Oregon State Police by performing a drug recognition evaluation on a male in the 1100 block of East Main Street.

Sunday 12:59 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a burglary at Walker Elementary School in the 300 block of Walker Avenue. The case is currently under investigation.

Sunday 5:34 p.m. — Police arrested a 27-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants during a traffic stop in the 1100 block of North Mountain Avenue. The suspect showed impairment during field sobriety tests.

Sunday 7:49 p.m. — A man reported that his mountain bike was stolen from a storage container on his car while it was parked in Lithia Park in the 600 block of Granite Street.

Sunday 9:00 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a man who was a danger to himself or others in the 300 block of Liberty Street.

Sunday 9:46 p.m. — Police confiscated a small amount of marijuana from an adult man in the 400 block of Wightman Street.

Sunday 10:17 p.m. — Police cited a man to appear in court on a municipal warrant in the area of Lithia Way and Siskiyou Boulevard.
