Thursday 2:09 a.m. — Two male juveniles stole an 18-pack of beer at the Chevron gas station in the 2500 block of Ashland Street.

Thursday 5:08 p.m. — Police arrested a 28-year-old man for theft after he was caught shoplifting from Market of Choice.

Thursday 10:31 p.m. — An Ashland police officer conducted a drug evaluation for the Phoenix Police Department.

Friday 1:17 a.m. — Police witnessed a 19-year-old man knock over a newspaper stand in the 100 block of East Main Street. The suspect took off running after an officer identified himself. He was later arrested and lodged at Jackson County Jail for criminal mischief and interfering with a peace officer. He was additionally cited for minor in possession of alcohol after he blew a .19 BAC.
