Police and fire reports September 10

Thursday 6:57 a.m. — A person turned in an Arizona driver license. The owner was notified by United States Postal Service.

Thursday 12:32 p.m. — A man was cited for careless driving and open container in his vehicle after being involved in a motor vehicle collision while leaving the Safeway parking lot near the intersection of Sherman Street and Siskiyou Boulevard.

Thursday 12:07 p.m. — Police responded to an unfounded report of a missing child from Walker Elementary School at the 300 block of Walker Street. The child was with his mother.

Thursday 9:42 p.m. — Police transported an adult female to the Rogue Valley Medical Center for a mental health evaluation.

Wednesday 10:08 a.m.—AFR responded to a rescue or Emergency Services standby at the 2200 block of Highway 99 North.

Wednesday 5:42 p.m.—AFR responded to the 400 block of Drager Street to assist an invalid.

Thursday 8:50 a.m.—AFR responded to a report of excessive heat and scorch marks with no ignition on the 600 block of Clay Street.

Thursday 10:01 a.m.—AFR responded to a report of steam, vapor, fog or dust thought to be smoke on the 300 block of Starflower Lane.

Friday 1:53 a.m.—AFR responded to a system malfunction on the 1200 block of Ashland Street.
