Police and fire reports - September 15, 2010


Tuesday 9:11 a.m. — An unknown person turned in a found wallet to police. The owner was notified by United States Postal Service.
Tuesday 1:51 p.m. — Police recovered a counterfeit $5 bill that had been passed at a business on the 200 block of North First Street.
Tuesday 9:13 p.m. — Two men were cited and released for disorderly conduct near the Black Swan Theater on the 100 block of East Main Street.
Tuesday 10:18 — Police responded to a fire at the 100 block of South Mountain Avenue to assist Ashland Fire and Rescue in extinguishing the flames.
Tuesday 9:51 p.m. — Police responded to the 700 block of Terra Avenue. A candle had been left burning and the holder caught on fire.

Tuesday 4:42 p.m. — AFR responded to a report of arcing and shorted electrical equipment at the 400 block of Wightman Street.
Tuesday 9:51 p.m. — AFR responded to a report of fire at the 700 Terra Avenue.
Tuesday 10:17 p.m. — AFR responded a fire in a structure at the 100 block of South Mountain Avenue.
Wednesday 12:27 a.m. — AFR responded to a call for aid at the 100 block of Maple Street.
