Police Reports

Tuesday 8:40 a.m. — Police reported an unknown person threw a piece of wood through the window of a parked truck on the 1000 block of Ashland Street.

Tuesday 12:02 p.m. — Police cited a 51-year-old man for trespassing at the Super Eight Motel on Monday after he had already been warned.

Tuesday 12:44 p.m. — Police arrested a 27-year-old man on a warrant for criminal mischief. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail on $4,000 bail.

Tuesday 12:48 p.m. — Police received a report that a girl stole several items from her roommate when she ran away from the Lithia Springs Girl's Home.

Tuesday 2:55 p.m. — Police seized a handgun believed to be stolen from Colorado in 1973 on the 1600 block of Peach Street. It was later determined that the gun was not the reported stolen gun and police will return it to the owner.

Tuesday 3:49 p.m. — A man reported his unlocked bicycle stolen from his apartment complex on the 100 block of Fifth Street.

Tuesday 4:43 p.m. — Police cited a man for driving without registration after he was stopped for traffic violations on the 400 block of Valley View Road. His car was impounded.

Tuesday 6:58 p.m. — Police cited a driver for driving uninsured after the car was involved in a car accident at the intersection of First and East Main streets.

Tuesday 10:04 p.m. — Police cited a 30-year-old man for driving with a suspended license and failure to obey a stop sign on the 1200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. His vehicle was impounded.

Wednesday 12:50 a.m. — Police found an abandoned vehicle at North Mountain Park with the key left in the ignition. The key was taken for safekeeping.
