Police reports April 10

Thursday 9:47 a.m. — A female juvenile was reported missing by her father on Granite Street. The father believes she might have run away to California with a group of male juveniles.

Thursday 1:48 p.m. — Police stopped a man in his vehicle at the DMV parking lot after the DMV teller advised him that his license was still suspended. The man did not have any liability insurance, and his vehicle was impounded.

Thursday 1:54 p.m. — Police investigated the theft of a cell phone at First Presbyterian Church on Clark Avenue. The case is open pending location of the suspect.

Thursday 3:37 p.m. — An unknown person turned in a small purse found on North Main Street. Police found identification in the purse, and wrote a letter to the owner informing her that the purse is stored in lost and found.

Thursday 6:31 p.m. — Police cited and released a 19-year-old for minor in possession of alcohol on the plaza. Police additionally cited another male for minor in possession of alcohol and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Police transported the second male to detox because he was too intoxicated to care for himself.

Friday 12:29 a.m. — Police arrested a 23-year-old woman for driving under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop for several traffic violations on Union Street and Siskiyou Boulevard. Later, the woman blew a .12 BAC and was cited and released.

Friday 1:12 a.m. — Police did a bar check of the Vinyl Club and found that they were over capacity. The business will be cited for overcrowding.

Friday 8:20 a.m. — A woman reported someone stole her identity and used it to create a cell phone account under her name on North Mountain Avenue. She listed her ex-boyfriend as a suspect.
