Police reports March 19

Wednesday 10:29 a.m. — A man reported two individuals intimidated him to give them a specified amount of money on Avery Street. The case is under investigation.

Wednesday 12:10 p.m. — Police arrested a 31-year-old man for trespassing after he unlawfully entered Happy Falafel after business hours. Additionally, he was also charged with driving while his license was suspended. He was cited and released.

Wednesday 4:47 p.m. — Police arrested a 21-year-old woman for violation of a conditional release agreement after she was stopped for speeding at the corner of Indiana Street and Siskiyou Boulevard.

Wednesday 5:05 p.m. — Police arrested a 27-year-old man on the power of a warrant charging probation violation on a criminal mischief charge. He was lodged at Jackson County Jail.

Wednesday 6:04 p.m. — Police located a runaway juvenile female, took her into protective custody and released her to her parent on Faith Avenue.

Wednesday 8:01 p.m. — Police responded to a report of an assault with a handgun. The victims reported they entered a vehicle with the known suspect and an unknown woman. The man displayed a handgun, hit a victim in the head with his hand or possibly the butt of his gun, and caused injury. The victims fled the vehicle, and the suspect reportedly fired the gun, possibly in their direction. Afterwards, the suspect and the woman fled the area in a black Mercedes with license plate 470 DGB. Officers from Medford Police Department located the vehicle and a pursuit followed, but Medford police officers ended the pursuit for public safety. The case is open pending warrant request.
