Police reports March 24

Monday 11:43 a.m. — Police received a report of a hit-and-run on Water Street. At some point between 9 and 10 p.m. on Tuesday evening, an unknown person drove into the front gate to an Ashland construction yard, damaging the gate.

Monday 12:05 p.m. — Police received a report of possible elderly abuse in the Ashland area. The case is currently under investigation.

Monday 5:15 p.m. — Police cited and released a 26-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman for trespassing after they refused to leave Rite Aid.

Monday 8:06 p.m. — Police cited and released a 22-year-old man for a municipal court warrant charging reckless burning and arson on Alida Street and Siskiyou Boulevard.

Monday 8:09 p.m. — Police arrested a 27-year-old man for assault, strangulation and harassment on Hargadine Street.

Tuesday 3:35 a.m. — Police arrested a 23-year-old man for driving under the influence of alcohol on Terra Avenue and Siskiyou Boulevard after police observed him operating a vehicle. Police transported him to the Ashland Police Department where he blew a .19 BAC and was cited and released.

Tuesday 5:51 a.m. — Between the hours of midnight and 5:50 a.m. on Tuesday morning, an unknown person shattered the rear window of a vehicle on Ray Lane. There are no suspects or leads at this time.
