Prowler drawing released

Police have released a composite drawing of the prowler who has been looking through women's bedroom windows at night.

The drawing comes after police received a report of a prowler on Saturday on Alida Street watching a resident. This was the fifth similar report in the past two-and-a-half weeks of a man trespassing and watching residents in their homes, although Lt. Corey Falls of the Ashland Police Department said that police aren't sure the latest case is related.

"We don't know," Falls said this morning.

Other incidents have occurred on Quincy, Lincoln and Garfield streets.

Police describe the man as in his early 20s, white and 5-foot-9-inches to 5-foot-10-inches tall, with a medium build, brown hair and a freckled complexion.

Police are still gathering information on the suspect. Police encourage residents to draw blinds and lock windows and doors in their homes at night.

Officials are asking anyone with information about the case to contact the Ashland Police Department at 482-5211.
