Signs tell of watershed ecology

Ashland Forest Resiliency Stewardship Project will unveil interpretive signs from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, at the Lithia Swim Reservoir at the corner of Grant Street and Glenview Drive.

The celebration also will thank volunteers who installed the signs at trailheads near the Ashland Watershed.

The signs are placed at the reservoir, White Rabbit parking area, Lamb Mine trailhead and Four Corners. They have a map, regulatory information, and additional information about natural and ecological processes.

Representatives from the project, which aimed to create a more sustainable and fire-resistant natural environment on 7,600 acres of land in the Ashland watershed, will be present.
