UPDATED: Cause of Alchemical Solutions fire under investigation

Updated 1:27 p.m.

Fire crews have knocked down the remaining flames inside Alchemical Solutions and moved on to mopping up the structure's smoldering insides, fire crews said.

No one was injured in the blaze, fire crews said.

The cause of the inferno and what fueled it is under investigation by the Medford Fire Department, because Ashland's fire investigator is out of the office, fire crews said.

No other businesses operated out of the 12,000 square-foot warehouse, which was gutted from floor to roof on one end of the building, fire crews said; the entire building suffered heavy smoke damage.
