The annual Island Night at the Daniel Meyer pool has been rescheduled for 1:30-6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25.
Admission is $2 per person and includes Hawaiian music, hula-hoop dancing, free hula-hoop workshop for the community and activities for all ages.
The event, titled “Island Night: An Aloha State of Mind,” is at the outdoor pool facility in Hunter Park at 1705 Homes Ave. It’s hosted by the Ashland Parks and Recreation Commission.
If unhealthy smoke levels cause pool closure, the performances will be moved indoors to the Senior Center next door at 1699 Homes Ave.
The event was originally scheduled for July 21, but was called off due to unhealthy smoke conditions.
For more information, the pool can be reached at 541-488-0313.
