Police reports April 28

Monday 12:01 a.m. — A woman reported that an unknown person in Nigeria used her identity to facilitate a real estate scam.

Monday 10:39 a.m. — An unknown person turned in a wallet found in the Ashland area. The wallet was tagged and stored in lost and found.

Monday 1:55 p.m. — An unknown person turned in a found bicycle to police. It was stored in lost and found.

Monday 2:26 p.m. — Police received a faxed cross report of possible neglect in the Ashland area within the past month.

Monday 10:11 p.m. — Police cited a 32-year-old man for having an open container of alcohol after he was seen drinking from an open bottle of beer on B and Oak streets.

Monday 10:40 p.m. — Police took a juvenile into protective custody for being under the influence of intoxicants during a concert at the Old Armory. While in custody, he fought with police officers by hitting, kicking and attempting to bite. He was referred to the Juvenile Department for harassment, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, minor in possession of alcohol and possession of marijuana.
