Police reports April 9

Wednesday 9:30 a.m. — A man reported that an unknown person broke the passenger side window of his vehicle while it was parked at his residence on Blackberry Lane.

Wednesday 9:53 a.m. — Police impounded a 20-year-old man's vehicle after it was discovered that he didn't have valid driving privileges during a traffic stop on North Wightman and East Main streets. During the inventory search, police found a glass marijuana pipe in the vehicle.

Wednesday 1:33 p.m. — Police received a report of disorderly conduct on Siskiyou Boulevard. A man yelled and cursed at the employees of Ashland Family Practice, and threatened to come back and break the windows because the business had his vehicle towed.

Wednesday 7:53 p.m. — Police cited and released a 22-year-old man for eluding a police officer after he fled from his vehicle during a traffic stop on Wightman Street into his residence.

Wednesday 8:41 a.m. — Police arrested an 18-year-old man for trespassing, possession of marijuana and minor in possession of alcohol on Siskiyou Boulevard.

Wednesday 11:23 p.m. — Police cited and released a 22-year-old man for theft on Granite Street near the water tower. The man had several bulky items under his jacket that were identified as food items. After further investigation, police determined that they had been shoplifted from Safeway, and the items were returned to the store.
