Police reports May 12

Monday 1:13 p.m. — A woman reported that her granddaughter ran away from home on Siskiyou Boulevard.

Monday 2:43 p.m. — A woman reported that unknown suspects shattered the windshield of her son's vehicle while it was parked at Ashland High School on South Mountain Avenue. The event occurred between 8 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. There are currently no further leads or suspect information.

Monday 3:43 p.m. — A female juvenile was arrested for criminal mischief at Rare Earth on North Main Street.

Tuesday 3:00 a.m. — Police investigated the death of a 78-year-old man on Maple Street. There were no signs of criminal activity.

Tuesday 3:49 a.m. — An intoxicated man was found passed out near the Stevenson Union at Southern Oregon University. He was taken to detox.
