Police reports May 20

Tuesday 1:04 p.m. — Police cited a woman for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk after she hit a man with her car on East Main Street and Lithia Way. The man sustained a head injury, but refused transport to the hospital.

Tuesday 2:00 p.m. — A male juvenile was arrested for possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school on Walker Avenue. He was additionally cited for possession of tobacco.

Tuesday 2:14 p.m. — Police received a report of possible physical abuse in the Ashland area.

Tuesday 4:24 p.m. — Police arrested a female juvenile for theft on Siskiyou Boulevard.

Tuesday 4:53 p.m. — A violin was reported stolen from Ashland Middle School.

Tuesday 4:55 p.m. — Police received a report of an abandoned bike left in front of the municipal court. The bike was stored in police lost and found bike compound.

Tuesday 10:11 p.m. — A person who intentionally overdosed on medication on Granite Street was taken to Rogue Valley Medical Center for a mental health evaluation.
