Police reports May 21

Wednesday 9:28 a.m. — Unknown suspects stole a UPS package from a man's front porch on Wimer Street.

Wednesday 11:55 a.m. — Police assisted the department of human services investigate allegations of child neglect in the Ashland area.

Wednesday 3:59 p.m. — Police arrested a 59-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants at his residence on Nezla Street. He later blew a .17 BAC.

Wednesday 8:11 p.m. — Police transported an intoxicated man on East Main Street to detox.

Wednesday 8:14 p.m. — Police investigated a report of suspicious activity on Nutley Street and Winburn Way. A citizen reported that a van dropped off two bloody individuals in Lithia Park and then sped off in an unknown direction. Ashland Fire and Rescue responded and treated one individual, and the other left in an unknown direction.

Thursday 12:12 a.m. — While he was transported from Ashland to Providence Hospital by Ashland Fire Rescue, a 19-year-old man was cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and minor in possession of alcohol.
