Police reports May 29

Thursday 12:56 p.m. — Two mountain bikes were discovered behind a residence on Garfield Street. The resident of the apartment said she did not know who owned them, and police discovered one of the bikes had been reported stolen.

Thursday 3:29 p.m. — Unknown suspects stole a man's cell phone from the front seat of his unlocked vehicle on Wightman and Iowa streets. A woman's digital camera was also reported stolen from the vehicle.

Thursday 8:54 p.m. — A purse found in the Ashland area was turned in at the Ashland Police Department. Police were unable to contact the owner, but left a business card at the owner's address.

Thursday 11:39 p.m. — Police confiscated a man's driver's license and impounded his vehicle after his driving privileges were found to be suspended during a traffic stop on North Main Street.

Friday 12:24 a.m. — Police cited a 21-year-old man for scattering rubbish after he was observed urinating on the sidewalk at the corner of East Main and First streets.

Friday 1:28 a.m. — Police arrested a 26-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants at the corner of East Main and South First streets.

Friday 1:45 a.m. — A citizen turned in a Bank of America debit card that was found on the sidewalk on East Main and North First streets.

Friday 3:15 a.m. — Police confiscated a man's driver's license after it was discovered that his driving privileges were suspended at the corner of Siskiyou Boulevard and Morton Street.
