Police reports May 8

Thursday 9:48 a.m. — A female juvenile was arrested for possessing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school on South Mountain Ave.

Thursday 12:49 p.m. — Police assisted the Department of Human Services in investigating a possible child abuse case in the Ashland area. The investigation was closed at screening.

Thursday 1:42 p.m. — Police cited a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old man for not wearing helmets at the skate park.

Thursday 3:51 p.m. — A man reported a hit and run to his vehicle on A Street.

Thursday 4:54 p.m. — Police found graffiti on a bridge support at the Clay Street overpass.

Thursday 11:18 p.m. — Police took a 20-year-old man to a detox center in Medford and cited him for minor in possession of alcohol. The man was a passenger in a vehicle that was impounded on Winburn Way. The vehicle was impounded after the driver was found to have no license or liability insurance.

Friday 12:42 a.m. — Police confiscated a woman's driver's license during a traffic stop on B and Third streets.

Friday 1:51 a.m. — Police cited a 23-year-old man on Lincoln Street for unnecessary noise after a dance version of "Rock Me Amadeus" could be heard from the street several apartments away.

Friday 2:54 a.m. — Police cited a 19-year-old man for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption after he was seen stumbling and obviously intoxicated on the sidewalk near 7-Eleven. He was cited and released.
